About CUCCUUN

Laurie Kruhoeffer

My twin sister and I were raised in New Jersey. While my father was transferred overseas to Europe on corporate assignment, I was exposed to European art and architecture at a young age. My early interest in architecture led me to graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture at Penn State University. I worked at a large firm in Princeton, New Jersey before marrying and transplanting myself to Minneapolis, Minnesota.  After moving to the Land of 10,000 Lakes, I continued working for several years at a large mid-western architectural firm earning my state license. Upon becoming state registered, I decided to pursue my passion – residential design. I worked for several local architectural design/builders in Minneapolis before establishing my own firm, LK Architects.

My husband Doug and I have two grown boys and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Leo. In my spare time, I can be found watching college football, taking a spinning or Pilates class, tinkering in the yard or paddle boarding at our cabin in Brainerd, Minnesota. I love to travel and can often spotted at local bazaar or markets haggling with the shopkeepers.
